Syed Hussain

Relationship Manager, Commercial Banking

Syed serves as a Relationship Manager in our Commercial Banking division, bringing over a decade of experience supporting businesses across the Greater Seattle Region. Originally from South Florida, he earned his degree in Business Management from the University of Central Florida, providing a strong foundation for his career in financial services. Syed now resides in Kirkland, WA with his wife and three children—two sons and one daughter—and is a proud father. Outside of work, he enjoys staying active through gym workouts and basketball, and he also owns and manages a coffee shop in Redmond, WA.

Michelle Weiss

Select Banking Officer

Michelle serves as our Select Banking Officer and has been with WaFd Bank since 2017. Originally from El Paso, TX and raised in Arizona, Michelle earned her BA in Elementary/Special Education from La Salle University in Philadelphia. Her journey has taken her to cities across North America including Edmonton, Cincinnati, Chicago, Miami, and Littleton, before settling in Washington. Michelle now resides in Seattle with her husband, their cat, and an American Staffordshire Terrier. They have two adult daughters, both graduates of Western Washington University. Outside of work, Michelle enjoys cheering on the Seattle Mariners, attending ACT theater performances and concerts, and exploring Washington’s vibrant food scene, antique shops, and dog parks.
